Your Bouquet & Flowers

There are no limitations to your flowers and where you use your flowers on the day. Flowers can be used as a beautiful decoration and can add a touch of class on the day. Traditionally the bride and bridesmaid carry bouquets and the groom and his groomsmen have buttonholes.

Your flower girl (if you’re having one) can toss petals on the ground. You can wear flowers in your hair. They can decorate the church or venue of your ceremony. Petals can be thrown in the air by your guests after the ceremony for that picture moment, and you can even use flowers to grace the top of your cake. You can choose a single flower type, or if you would prefer a collection of different flowers and foliage to match the bridesmaid dresses this can also look beautiful.

Bridal Bouquets

There are numerous styles of bouquets available. Here are just a few for you to consider when making your choice.

• Posy Round and small bouquet that can be easily held in one hand. It is formally bound or tied together at the stems to form a hemispherical shape. The size of the bouquet can vary. This style is widely used where the natural stems are wrapped in a beautiful satin and embellished with pearl pins. Compliments nicely with straight and shorter wedding dress styles.
• Cascade / Shower / Teardrop Designed to spill gracefully over the brides hand. Top heavy in arrangement, it tapers downward creating a beautiful sophisticated look. Its size can vary and coordinates lovely with a flared or very full dress.
• Arm Spray Cradled in the curve of the arm, or if preferred hung from the hand. A beautiful cluster of long stemmed flowers and greener. It can be wider with loose trails creating a softer effect. This bouquet can complement a simple dress shape.
• Kissing Ball / Pomander Flowers suspended from a loop of decorative ribbon creating a ball of flowers. Flower girls and junior bridesmaids normally carry this type of bouquet.
• Single Stem Feature one dramatic flower, such as a lily presented alone. This can give a dramatic and simplistic look and would work beautifully with a simple fitted dress.

After a detailed written quote has been provided, a deposit of 20% of the total price is required to make a booking and is non refundable. Confirmation of final numbers and final balance payment must be paid 3 weeks prior to wedding date. Payment is accepted via cash, bank-transfer, money order and cheque. We endeavour to provide your required flowers, however, we do not guarantee the exact colour, variety, size of flowers due to the seasonal availability and changes.

If a product (flower, foliage or any accessories) is not available, we will find the product with a suitable match to your specifications and will inform you by phone or email.

Fresh flowers can also be affected by the weather which can cause some flowers to not be available. In this case you should discuss a substitute flower or implement an Artificial in its place. Sometimes we are only given short notice with regards to flowers affected by the Weather and this cannot be controlled.

In no event shall Blooms & Petals Florist and their respective affiliates, be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, exemplary punitive, incidental or consequential damages of any kind which arises out of or in any way connected with the use of our services or equipment supplied by Blooms & Petals Florist. 

All effort will be made by Blooms & Petals Florist to supply the products agreed upon at the time of booking. However, Blooms & Petals Florist will not be held responsible if the products are not available as a result of, but not limited to, unavailability, seasonal variation or poor quality. Blooms & Petals Florist reserves the right to use its discretion to supply similar or substitute high quality product under such circumstances and will try where possible to agree this alternative product with the suppliers.

In the unlikely event that Blooms & Petals Florist are unable to fulfil the order for reasons including, but not limited to, illness, accident, or injury, we reserve the right to find substitute staff, companies, and/or subcontractors, to fulfil the order. If Blooms & Petals Florist are still unable to fulfil the order, we reserve the right to cancel the order and will refund all monies to you that might otherwise be available to you under applicable law.
